The Erasmus+ Research Hub is developing a comprehensive analytical ecosystem composed of harmonised methodology, a structured evidence database and an AI based conversational tool. All components are integrated and evolving together.

At the core of the system is a standardised metadata template, created by PL01 and refined with partners during the 2025 workshops. The template captures:

  • general descriptors (title, country, year, sector, language),

  • methodological metadata (research method, data collection technique, sample size, response rate, national/transnational scope),

  • keywords and priority tags,

  • key findings and recommendations,

  • links and references to full reports.

By late 2025, partners submitted approx. 60 completed templates, forming the basis of the pilot crosscountry analysis.

By late 2025, partners submitted approx. 60 completed templates, forming the basis of the pilot crosscountry analysis. The templates feed into a developing evidence database, which will become a searchable, structured resource for National Agencies, the European Commission, researchers and practitioners. The database will allow users to review findings, compare trends across countries and sectors, and drill down into methodological details.

In 2026–2027, the Hub will also introduce an AI powered assistant, providing:

  • natural language access to the evidence,

  • synthesis of results across countries,

  • clear links to sources,

  • transparent methodological notes.

Together, the methodology, database and AI tool will form a single, integrated system supporting evidencebased decision making across Europe.
