Authors of scientific and research publications may submit proposals by taking part in "EDUinspirations Science - FRSE Monographs" publishing contest.
The contest prize is the publication – in printed and electronic form – of the monographs with the highest scores during the procedures provided for in the Regulations of the contest, after obtaining positive opinions from external reviewers.

Competition Announcement

The conditions of participation, subject scope, procedure for submitting Works and the course of the Competition are set out in the “EDUinspirations Science – FRSE Monographs” Programme Regulations (hereinafter: “Regulations”), available on the FRSE Publishing website.

The rules for preparing the submission documentation are set out in § 4 of the Regulations. Competition documents and Works must be prepared in Polish or English. The types of Works eligible to take part in the Competition are specified in § 3 of the Regulations.

Other documents referred to in the Regulations, titled “Technical Standards for Publications Submitted to the FRSE Research and Publishing Department” – providing information on the method of preparing Works submitted to the Competition, which is subject to initial assessment, as well as “Publishing Procedures for Scientific Monographs”, “Procedure for Peer Reviewing Monographs Submitted for Publication” and “Principles of Publication Ethics”, explaining the publication process and the rules adopted by the Organiser, are available on the FRSE Publishing website.

The award in the Competition is the publication – in print and electronic form – of the monographs that receive the highest scores during the procedures set out in the Competition Regulations, after obtaining positive reviews from external reviewers.

The substantive assessment of submitted Works is carried out by the Competition Committee – the Scientific Council of FRSE Publishing – whose composition is published on the FRSE Publishing website.

The Organiser informs that it will select one Work, referred to in pt. 4, for peer review and – if the review is positive – award it. This number may change in the event of: an unsatisfactory standard of Works, changes to the Foundation for the Development of the Education System’s budget allocated to the implementation of the Competition, or the inability to conduct the Competition for reasons specified in § 2(6) and § 11(6) of the Regulations.

Works will be accepted until 30 April 2026.

Acceptance of a submission is determined by the date of receiving the submission documents duly completed by all Co-authors/Scientific Editors and the Competition Work, prepared in accordance with the “Technical Standards of FRSE Publishing”. Submissions to the Competition must be made using the application form.

The Author of a Work awarded in the Competition and accepted for publication will receive an honorarium of PLN 5,000 gross, and Authors of chapters in an edited volume – up to PLN 1,200 gross. In the case of multi-author Works or Works prepared under the editorship of several persons, the rules for the division of the honorarium will be agreed between the Organiser and the interested parties.

The title of the winning Work will be made public on the website of the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (www.frse.org.pl) after completion of the procedures set out in the Competition Regulations.
