The aim of the text is the description of the teaching process of languages for specific purposes in philology studies. The paper presents an outline of courses on business language at the Institute of German Studies, University of Warsaw, designed both to teach language skills and convey professional knowledge in the CLIL formula, which is becoming more and more popular.
